A NEW SWEDISH FRIEND

I'm very excited because I have a new SWEDISH FRIEND! This is because my class and me are writting letters to a swedish school called Nacka, that it's in Stockholm.
We have just received her second letter, and I really loved it.

We're goint to make some video conferences with them, and also each of us is going to share a blog whit his swedish friend. I think it's goint to be very funny and in a future I would like to travel to Sweden to see my friend!

In conclusion: I love this activity because we're meeting new people of other countries and ways to communicate with them in english.

THE OLYMPIC SUMMER

This summer has been the olympic summer because after four years the olympic games have returned, with more athletes and more emotion in London 2012.

While I was watching the olympic games I imagined... I imagined that I was in the olympic village with my team of voleyball, or of synchronized swimming, or of basketball... I dreamed that I was running a race with Usain Bolt or that I was eating with Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant. I cried of emotion thinking that I was in the podium after win my first olympic medal.
I shouted and laughed like I was at the opening ceremony.
But my biggest question was: I WILL BE THERE SOME DAY?

That's one of MY DREAMS!

BEACH VOLLEYBALL

For first time, this summer I have enrolled in the sport week of La Eliana. I enrolled in beach volleyball with Paula Lopez.


We thought that we would play with people of our age, but when we arrived the first day, we saw that we were going to play with people that were much older than us. We were a little scared and nervous, but finally we played.

Besides this match, we played four more and as we liked and enjoyed it, we have returned in september to play the "Peque Volley", this time with people of our age. That day was great! we played volley-ball but also we met new people and talk and laugh together.

Also we got a medal and a cup because Paula and me were first in the classification!

SUMMER!

I can't talk about the summer without talk about the water.
Who has a summer without beach? or who has a summer without swimming pool?

This summer I have gone to the beach many times.
When I go with my friends is very funny, we play volleyball, we make races in the water, we speak, we laugh... but also I have gone with my family, for example: I went 5 days to Almeria with my dad, my mum and my sister. There the beaches are much cleaner than here and are very nice.

Another 2 days I went to Denia with my uncle, my aunt and my cousins, also to the beach. There we saw the sunset and the sunrise. Was very very beautiful!

My summer has been full of BEACH DAYS!

PORT AVENTURA!

The first that I did when I finished the school was go to Port Aventura with my cousins, my uncle and my aunt.
Was the fourth time that we went, but for me it was still very exciting.
We were there two days, and we slept in a Port Aventura hotel. One morning the cookie monster came to our hotel and wee took a photo with he.

Furius Baco

The " Dragon Khan" was our first attraction, and one of our favourites with the " Furius Baco" and the "Shambhala" ( the highest roller-coaster in Europe). They're our favourites because are......... WOW! Impressive.


In conclusion: To be in Port Aventura is one of the things that I have enjoyed more this summer and I hope that the next summer I can return.

NICHOLAS NICKLEBY

This book is about a poor and honest boy, Nicholas Nickleby, that after the death of his father, decides to go to London with his mother and sister because there lives his uncle Ralph, and he hopes that his uncle helps them to find a work to get some money.
Ralph is a rich man and knows many people in the city, so he find a job for Nicholas very fast.

Since then, Nicholas works as a teacher in a terrible school. There he makes friends and enemies. And he helps one of his friends, called Smike, to get his dream, to have a family.

THE CHALLENGE

This book tells te story of three teenagers, Bobby, Helena and Lisa. They start school and they want to so something exciting in this school year. Then the headmaster organizes a competition for the Secondary School Students. The students have to get a lot of money to adapt the school for disabled children. The students make a lot of teams. Bobby, Helena and Lisa are a team and they organize parties and another events to get the money and win the prize: a holidays in Paris.

They have some problems but at the end they enjoy this school year.

I like this book because is entertaining and is a real and exciting story. Besides the protagonists are young like me.
